The diversity!
This town is on its own level when it comes to acceptance of all nationalities. It enables a chance for success for everyone. It is a growing communiity that meets and surpassses all expectations. Despite being in the middle of no where this town has more businesses than one could imagine. The resturants all the way to autoshops, this town has it all. The school system is even great because it has a variety of athletics for the students to be in.

Storm lake is a peaceful small town that welcomes all people. The people of the town are very accepting. The diversity in Storm Lake is extremely deep, with a wide variety of races, cultures, religions, and ethnicities. The media gives the town a bad reputation, but I disagree with that. Storm Lake is a great town to live in. There are very cold winters and extremely hot summers, but In my 18 years of being a resident, I have no real complaints. It's a lovely town full of friendly people and I'm going to miss it dearly when I leave for college.
I would like to see some kind of regulation on what landlords can charge tenants. The amount of money they are asking for up front to be able to rent a place is ridiculous. I would also like to see a day care center as we have too many issues with day care providers as there is a growing demand for them. I would also like to see more family oriented activities/centers where one can spend some time with one's children. Besides a few parks we have nowhere for our children to spend time, we need our bowling alley back!
