Stokesdale is a very small town in North Carolina. There are a few local businesses, a Subway, a few gas stations, and that’s about it. I have lived in Stokesdale for my entire life. I like the area because it is close to various large North Carolina cities without being large itself. I feel safe in Stokesdale. My only complaint would be that there isn’t much do to around town, but small towns rarely have a lot of activities.
I love being in a small town away from the noise and congestion of the city. However, I am still close to chain grocery stores and a pharmacy. There are a few restaurants but I would like to see a few more for convenience. It is a great place to raise a family.
I have lived here for about 9 years now and I haven't had any problems. The people around here are so nice and friendly. They are always wanting to help. You are kinda far from the city but that's okay because we have most of what we need right here in town!
