I have lived in Stockdale my entire life. I am currently a senior in SHS, and work for Leroy at the shell station off 123. If anyone has ever visited Stockdale they might say it is to small, or trashy, but those who live in it know the truth. I have seen many people pass through our little town, and say a variety of things about it. From it is the cutest little town they have ever seen to it being the worst place the have ever visited. If anyone is truly reading this, come visit the Texas cooler shell and get some southern bbq. You won't ever want to leave. I have heard people say they drive for miles just to get our tacos. And Friday night highschool football is this towns defining trait. As a member of the band, a highschooler, and because of where I work I have seen to many great people in this town. And for some to call them trashy, or hic is down right bullshit. You can ask anyone, and out of the neighboring towns they would rather choose this one over them all.

Stockdale is kinda trashy, there aren’t many restaurants, and internet availability is very limited.
Used to be a really safe area. Garbage from San Antonio moved in recently, as well as people from the oil business, so its drastically declined in terms of safety.

Lol @ diversity on this website. Why is that even a factor? Mostly Mexicans and Whites live here.
