Being a college-aged student myself, I obviously love the atmosphere of being in a college town and feeling connected with my community. On the other hand, there's not many exciting things to do around town since we're small and mainly focused on OSU. I would like to see more shopping places, restaurants to dine in, and more fun things to do!

Stillwater is a great place. It's a wonderful city especially if you're an OSU Cowboy fan. It gets super busy around football season! The locals enjoy having a break from all the "hustle and bustle" during the summer breaks. Stillwater offers a variety of restaurants, stores and parks. Overall, it's a very friendly city and very accommodating to visitors.
Stillwater, Oklahoma. Nestled in between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, but most people aren't just passing through. Home to Oklahoma State University since 1890, this is as college town as it gets, without the hustle and bustle of a city or metroplex. Get off at 5:00pm in town? You'll probably be home by 5:30 at the latest. Stillwater has plenty of walmarts, but if you want a healthier alternative, there is a sprouts with great produce selection. The housing market is incredibly affordable for those renting or buying... However, I'm quite honestly waiting for people to just come flip all these historic homes.
Stillwater is an affordable place to live, and is great for those sticking around after education. But, it's not a place to grow your career unless you are involved with the university or it's athletics, the city, the hospital, or one of the surrounding companies like ditch witch.
