Stickney Township Reviews

I have been living in Stickney for the past three years and so far my experience has been amazing. We are one of the few township's run by the government. Stickney is well known for their veterans living in here. The township acknowledges and recognizes our veterans, they are always being honored for their service which is a wonderful thing. I love our police department, they are always very vigilant of our streets and alleys. They keep our township very safe. Our police enforcement are always quick to respond. Our school systems are one of the best. Stickney is family friendly, always having family events over the summer. Since it is a small township there are not very much job opportunities. The biggest store we have is Jewel-Osco. The cost of living in Stickney is affordable even though the real estate market keeps growing with new constructions and remodeling of current homes. Overall, Stickney township is a good and safe place to live.
Stickney is a very safe and friendly community. Everyone that lives in Stickney seems to be very friendly and not problematic at all for the most part. Stickney Police really go above and beyond to help you out when ever there is an emergency. They are constantly patrolling the streets making sure everything is in tact which is why Stickney has remained a safe neighborhood for years.
It's a small suburb and it has that small suburb feel. The people are friendly and the schools are OK.
