Sterling is a suburb of DC, it is up and coming. I specifically live in Countryside which has a good mix of city vibes and small town feel. There is a lot of restaurants, shops and outdoor stuff to do. We have the Washington Old Dominion trail which is a great place for a bike ride or run. Countryside is a very close knit community where everyone knows each other and the kids grow up together. It is a wonderful place to live with only a quick drive to DC and the beautiful Shenandoah area!
An up-and-coming area. Many new and unique restaurants and shops to explore. Close to DC and easy access to Wiehle-Reston metro station and Dulles International Airport! Great schools and community programs.
