I really like the town of Stephenville, Texas. If you adapt and are more comfortable in small towns, then Stephenville is just right for you! You definitely feel that small town atmosphere! Also, what I really like about this town is since this town is fairly small, everything from restaurants to businesses to grocery stores are relatively close to each other! There is also a University, Tarleton State University here, with a also a community college, Ranger College, as it is called, as well as a high school and jr high school and a few elementary schools. You can also find a church easily, and I really enjoy the town park beside the Bosque river where you could relax, go fishing, or take a nice little jog! Stephenville is most definitely the place to live for small town lovers!

I absolutely love it! Great small college town, that offers great opportunities to those who live here. Friendly people, real quiet during summers and picks up during the school year. Rodeo community, eat, live and breathe it down here!
Stephenville exudes that small town feeling while providing the amenities of a large city. Entering from any direction brings you to the city center, kept alive by the community. Gorgeous old time aesthetics of the city square are maintained while providing modern services. Such is not the case here. Stephenville's downtown welcomes you with vibrancy and open arms.
What stands out the most about this town is truly the people. You won't meet a man who doesn't hold the door open for a woman or a face without a smile. Tarleton State University is a staple in the city and opens its doors to the community just as the community is open to the campus. Tarleton held a week of service with one day dedicated to helping elderly folks. Not only did the students help, the entire community did. Everyone came together to do outdoor projects citizens would not have been able to tackle themselves.
You will find great food, entertainment, and best of all great people.
