Being born and raised in the Stateline area I know the town like the back of my hand. I enjoyed being raised here. There are lots of options on for night-life since we have four casinos, and because we are on the state line of Nevada and California. A minute away from the casinos, on the California side, there is the Heavenly Village that has the movie theater, various restaurants, and mini golf or ice skating. During the summer we have incredible beaches and weather, in the winter we have various ski resorts. Things tend to get repetitive if you have lived here for 18 years.
Stateline is a great town. It's a small city, so it's easy to run into someone you know at the grocery store or coffee shop. It's also close to Lake Tahoe so in the summer one can visit the beach. In the winter you can go skiing or snowboarding. It's a very nice mountainy feeling with the absence of the hustle-bustle of the city and all of the lights and noises. There is rarely a night where you can look up at the sky and not see a million stars in the sky. It truly is a beautiful town.
This is a beautiful place to live and a great place to raise a family. I was born and raised here and i absolutely love it. In the winter you can ski and in the summer you can boat and go to the beach. Living here is expensive but extremely enjoyable.
