New Richmond, Wisconsin has incredible opportunities for food. Since it's a lot smaller of a town than most cities, our restaurants and bars can take their time with the food to prepare it so it's a very enjoyable experience wherever one could go. Brady's Brewhouse is a relatively new restaurant in the downtown area that serves incredible pizzas, burgers, and steaks. They have gluten free options for all three! This great restaurant brews their own beer as well as serves a great selection of others at the bar. Also, Table 65 is a fantastic place to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The small restaurant serves an amazing steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. A few other favorites are their Oh Yeah! Portabella mushrooms and chicken alfredo with a great French onion soup. The nightlife in New Richmond isn't very active, but that's the way our town works and it works for the people here too.

The community in which I live in is incredibly great. I've lived at my home for the past eight years. Me and my family moved here from a home at which we lived there for seven years and during that time I started my schooling. During that time I was in a large school and got very little attention, from that I was put into a special program to help me with my reading and writing skills. Once we moved me and my family saw a change right away and I was able to reach the level that all my other classmates were at. Another aspect we found was that the there was a lot more to do in the community, things include a fair, community service, and plenty of opportunities for students to be engaged in work and play activities. These are things that really make my community great.
Major crime does not really occur at all in the area, but one problem that could be fixed is a drug problem that seems to occur among students. It is definitely a problem when everyone in the school can point out who does drugs and who doesn't it. And I feel that problem could be fixed by having the police search the school more often so that they can catch the offenders and help to stop the problem from occurring again or with other students.
