Stanford Reviews
Rating 4.5 out of 5 6 reviews
I lived here several years ago and have returned here for schooling; I have been able to see a large improvement in the neighborhood, local transportation, and available services. Not only has the local shuttle servicing the campus (Marguerite) improved the efficiency of schedule, but also improved the route so that it is able to service the businesses in the neighboring town. I appreciate the greater diversity of restaurants, too!
Very expensive area with huge markups on essentials like groceries, gasoline, produce, etcetera. Palo Alto is not a college friendly town.
The Stanford is very close to Stanford University and a lot of huge company in the heart of silicon valley. The dynamics is very active and full of creation. On the other hand the competition is tense. Big dream come true is everybody's dream but also a lot of people fail to fulfill their goal. The living cost in this area is among the top of all USA areas.
