This is where I grew up. I found myself ready to get out of Stanford towards my later years of high school. However, now that I am a senior in college and have spent much time away from home, I have grown to appreciate its charm and miss it quite often. The town is very simple and there isn't really much to see, but its simplicity is what is so nice. Everyone knows one another and that has its flaws at times, but it is a rare occasion to feel lonely in the town of Stanford. I would like to see the education and youth programs in the community to improve. It would be so great for the Parks and Rec organization to help the underprivileged youth in the community by helping them get involved in sports and introducing new opportunities for them.

Stanford is a nice town. There's a lot of little shops and it is a nice neighborhood. In addition to shops there's also multiple fast food restaurants, a hospital, a clinic, schools, and a Walmart. Stanford is one of the best towns in Lincoln County. The only bad part about Stanford is that there are multiple schools, so there is a lot of traffic before school starts and after school ends.
Its a small town. You get to meet and interact with others in the community. Its very family friendly. There are quite a few churches in Stanford. There are some cute shops and restaurants.
