St. Thomas Township Reviews
Living in Pennsylvania, the winters can get pretty harsh. However, there are mountains in PA, so the fall is absolutely beautiful! Spring tends to be kind of rainy, but still pretty and mild, and summer is hot and usually dry. I love hot weather, so summer is my favorite. We rarely have natural disasters. Being close to the east coast, if there is a major hurricane, we can be affected, but its not devastating. We lost power for 5 days during Hurricane Sandy, and we had a few trees and power lines down in our town, but no one lost their house or anything like that. We do not have tornadoes, earthquakes, or wildfires.
I am very thankful for the live that I have here. It may not be big or anything super spectacular, but it's home. It's a close knit community that always comes together when in need. Everyone in town seems to know everyone else some how or another. I have loved growing up here and I would be happy to raise my family here someday. I love the town, I love the people and I love that I am able to be part of it all.
Crime in town is nearly none existent, Mercersburg is a very quaint town and very rarely has any drama that is spread throughout town. I feel very safe here and believe that the police force in this area are very good and on top of most news.
