St. Simons Reviews
St Simon's is a safe place, people do not need to lock their doors..this is how safe it is! It's very clean and natural, but there are enough shops for you to enjoy outdoor activities, nice restaurants, bars, coffee shops, clothing stores and more. St Simon's Island also has a lovely beach, very natural, the only negative aspect is that the water isn't transparent due to the marshes, it's brownish.
St Simons is a sweet island filled with mostly wonderful people! Right across the bridge from us is a major homeless population. Most of these people are mentally ill and unable to get help. If anyone could help our town, I would want them to help Brunswick to have less of a homeless population. Maybe it would help if we opened up a free mental hospital of some kind for them.
St. Simons is located in southeast Georgia coast, midway between Savannah and Jacksonville, St. Simons Island is both a seaside resort and residential community. It is the largest of Georgia's renowned Golden Isles (along with Sea Island, Jekyll Island, and privately owned Little St. Simons Island). Visitors are drawn to the Island for its warm climate, beaches, variety of outdoor activities, shops and restaurants, historical sites, and its natural environment.
