St. Petersburg is a treasure trove of up and coming shops, restaurants, business, and neighborhoods! Long on history, this quaint burg is home to some amazingly exciting institutions of discovery, such as: Dali Museum; Chihuli Collection; Holocaust Museum; and much more. Revitalization of many neighborhoods means lots of new comers, and cultural diversity. Health conscious individuals will enjoy the walking/biking trails, such as: Pinellas Trail, Duke Energy Trail, and Ream Wilson Trail; along with the ever popular Saturday Morning Market in downtown St. Pete. The Rowdies professional soccer team calls downtown St. Pete home, as well as the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team. I cannot think of a more fun and educational place to call home!

St. PetersSt. Petersburg offers a great mix of laid-back beach activities and downtown excitement. There is never a shortage of events; from art festivals to sand sculpting competitions, live concerts and more. St. Petersburg also hosts a variety of outdoor activities for those who like adventure, and you won’t be alone! The residents of this city are always on the go. Home to some of the best local restaurants, St. Petersburg takes pride in its one of kind cuisine. If you’re looking to satisfy you’re artistic needs, the Dali museum, Chihuly exhibit, and Mahaffey Theatre are just a few of the notable destinations close to the downtown area.
I visited St. Petersburg, FL many years ago on vacation from Tucson, AZ and fell in love with the city, people and culture. I moved here in 2006 and my health and well-being are off the charts. Sunshine and outdoor activities are too numerous to count! Surprisingly I found a neighborhood (Lealman) just minutes from the downtown area where I am minutes away from: museums, restaurants, American League Baseball (Rays) and concert venues. St. Pete is surrounded on three sides of water- the Gulf of Mexico, which attracts visitors from all around the globe with beaches and water activities- in fact, almost every year one of our beaches is named one of the "best beaches" in the country. I am proud to reside here and hope to retire here with my family.
