I loved the small town atmosphere and friendly people! However, there weren't many job opportunities, you will most likely need to commute. It's not a problem if you own your own vehicle, but is a problem for those who don't. I don't have much experience with the school system, but I knew people who graduated from there, and they seemed happy enough with their education. Minnesota is an open enrollment state, so there are plenty of schools in neighboring towns to choose from. There is also a charter school in Henderson which has a bus route through Saint Peter. My favorite time of the year was the 4th of July. St Peter really goes all out with an old fashioned parade, activities for families in the park, and a fireworks display in the evening. People come from miles around to celebrate. There are so many parks and play grounds to choose from. People in general seem to be very happy here.

Small town Saint Peter is a nice town. The people are friendly and the environment is nice with all the parks provided and college near by. There isn’t too many activities for kids aged 13-20, but there is the city of Mankato close by for that. Raising your children in saint Peter wouldn’t be a bad idea considering the high school is one of the best in state.
St.Peter is a small town located in south central Minnesota. Located on the Minnesota river makes it a beautiful place. St.peter is a nice town to raise a family. It’s close to Mankato which is a fairly large city that’s only about 10 minuets away. Anything that you can’t find in st.peter can be found a short drive away in Mankato. St.peter has very good schools and the university there is beautiful too. St.peter has always had that small town feel along with a friendly community feel. It’s a great place to live.
