Saint John has several subdivisions, most have HOA fees involved. The safety is good in a good subdivision. The people that live here are snobby and unfriendly. The Police department has a lot of not so friendly officers working for them, if you have a crisis they treat you like a piece of crap. The paramedics department has
mostly very friendly employees. The homes built by the big builders known in this town are built very, very cheap and sold for a very high value. This town is small but growing rapidly. It is considered a suburb of Chicago. Chicago is approximately an hour drive away.

I really enjoy that it has many stores and restaurants near most suburbs, and I also appreciate the fact that the town has a good community in which people are able to come together. From sports opportunities to classes offered by the town, Saint John is a great place to love. Especially for families, it provides an environment close to stores and businesses, but also has subdivisions that provide room for a family to grow, even connecting with neighbors. Whether in the activities hosted in the town or in local businesses, Saint John offers its residents many different opportunities to get involved in the community.
I enjoyed growing up in Saint John because it is very safe with friendly locations. Although I live in Saint John, I attend Hanover Central high school which neighbors Lake Central high school. Both schools are different, but provide many opportunities to stay active in the community. One thing I would like to change would be to have more places to hang out as high schoolers. It is easy to travel to nearby towns to find something to do, but it gets boring and repetitive after 4 years of high school. Overall Saint John is a good place to grow up and is perfect for a family, and is central to other places that offer fun weekend activities.
