I generally like this city, but it has quite a few downfalls. There is not much to do for fun within the city other than go to the thrift shop, and you have to drive 5 miles out of your way at least just to get to a mall or decent bowling alley. Our schools are disorganized in that they cannot decide where, when and how to invest their money within the school. The principal during my high school education invested in a cheer team (which did nothing but cost money, not competitions or awards) before buying new instruments for our band. They also felt that getting mobile laptop carts was more important that updating the library computers and other resources. We only have a Pick n save for a grocery store, and its too costly for most St. Francis residence to shop. Property tax and other taxes are far too high for a city of this size.

St. Francis is a pretty safe area. Traffic is never too bad, although the close proximity to the airport means there is a lot of air traffic. It is close to Lake Michigan. It is also close to Milwaukee and has easy access to the beaches, restaurants, and things to do there. I would like it if there were a few more things to do in the community here, though. I would also like it if there were things to do within walking distance from where I'm living, but most things including restaurants and bars are kind of spread out.
Great city by a great lake. Very low crime rate, easily accessible to downtown and shopping. Miles of trails to walk, run and bike along the lake
