There aren't many things to do in this town; no good stores or restaurants, and poor schools. The people are the only redeeming quality, but even the majority of the teen population is misusing some form of drug (the popular ones right now are weed and vaping with nicotine--at least we've moved past the heroin frenzy of the early 2000s. There isn't too many crime, which is another plus, and there are some pretty nice and new real estate options. Mostly ideal for older couples who won't have any other kids. Note to minorities: St. Francis is about 90% white, and second highest race is Asian at around 5%...so not really a place of diversity. Lots of hicks and not a lot of diversity of thought either unfortunately.

This place has that small town feel. The members are strong supporters of the community. We recently made the news because there were three local anonymous donors that paid off the $10,000 student lunch debt. We do have to drive about 20 minutes to go shopping. We do not have many activities available for our youth outside of school based activities. There is a VR arcade, a bowling alley, and Healthy Hangout, which provides a space for our youth to go relax, play Foosball, or sit with friends.
St.Francis is a small community where it seems to overall have nice people but in my neighborhood we do have a theft going on where a couple guys are stealing certain items out of our garages. I have to shut the garage door every time I come home. There are a lot of sketchy people wandering around parks, and it can freak me out when I am running on my own.
