Often associated with its neighbors, Kissimmee and Orlando, St. Cloud sits on the shore of East Lake Tohopekaliga and is home to the Reptile World Serpentarium. But the compact, quiet city of St. Cloud offers other enticements. Stroll through the historic St. Cloud Main Street area and take a step back in time. Start the day in St. Cloud with a hearty Southern breakfast. Then, spend a leisurely morning browsing through the unique storefronts along Tenth Street, and New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Florida avenues. Here at St. Cloud you will find antiques, appliances, clocks, furniture, arts and crafts, and so much more.
I've lived in Saint Cloud for the past 17 years! I grew up here and It is a good environment for families. There are a lot of parks and community events.
The Saint Cloud Lakefront is very family friendly. There are some good schools in the area. In the past few years St.Cloud has gotten a lot of new shops, and restaurants including Ross, Ulta Beauty, Hobby Lobby, Chipotle, and Starbucks.
The downtown is nice with a lot of good local shops. Its nice and small with some charm. It is also not far from Kissimmee, Orlando, and Melbourne, which is very nice.

St. Cloud is a rapidly expanding city located in the heart of central Florida. It offers many stores, restaurants, parks, and nature trails. Athletic facilities include tennis courts, an ice rink, a public pool, and more. The biggest problem with St. Cloud is the extremely congested roads and never ending construction taking place. The traffic and construction can lead to very long commute times just to drive across town. However, despite these problems, the overall experience is a pleasant one. The weather is great and it is located approximately thirty minutes from downtown Orlando, offering convenient access to all of its sports, entertainment, and culinary facilities.
