For the most part Springfield Township, Delaware County is average. The public schools are good. A brand new K-1 Center was built recently, and there is talk about building a new high school in the coming years. There isn't much night life, but safety is never an issue for the families that live here. Saxer Ave. and Baltimore Pike are the main strips of restaurants/bars that people frequent. The town is affordable, and an easy commute into the city via train, trolley or bus. Overall Springfield is a nice place to live for anyone from a young professional or young family to retired people.
