I overall love the little city of Spring Lake. However, some of the people are caught up in being part of the community and their image. The place is beautiful though! Living on the water would be nice if could afford (prices on housing super expensive).

Spring Lake is a close-knit, family-friendly town that is nearby Grand Haven. Spring Lake public schools are well known for being in the top 2% of schools in the United States academically. It has beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan and excellent locations to take a dip or a boat into the water. Spring Lake's housing market can be a bit pricy, but the community is friendly and well-educated.
Spring Lake is a very friendly town. It is small enough so that everyone knows each other, but large enough to meet new friends. The school systems are amazing, and the town is very clean. I grew up right next to the elementary schools and it was a very great experience.
