People are friendly. They can form cliques that go back for generations, so you're going to be better off if you're not the first generation to live here. But I'd say there's generally a pretty good sense of community.

I was born here and it was a nice place to grow up. But I'm not much of a small town person. It's nice that it's close to the city and it's not extremely small, but it isn't a huge town either. People can be cliquey and judgemental. I prefer big cities and more urban areas.
There are simple, low-paying jobs for the high school students in town, especially around the holidays. Nothing too special though.
