Spring Hill Kansas is a very small town where everything is local, including the people and the food grown here. Everybody is familiar with everybody and what is happening in our town. Nobody is afraid to ask for help and everyone is happy to give some help. Somebody who did not live in Spring Hill might think that there is not much to do but the local farmers market and coffee shop is all the hype during the weekends! There are also many block parties and the most personable families in the few neighborhoods we have. I have only lived here for two and a half years but I'm already so in love and I am grateful that I could take part in a community filled with so much love and support!
Spring Hill is an awesome community. It is growing rapidly, it is safe, has some cute shops in the old downtown. It has several parks. We are a retired couple and we love it here.
Spring Hill is a very welcoming and safe place to live. It is a family community and I am happy living here.
In my opinion this is one town to avoid at all cost. The leadership does not listen to the public. We have a police department that only goals are to write tickets to generate income to fill the pockets of themselves and other in the city hall. The police department will sit on the highway at night in very dark areas running radar. I feel sorry for residents who live in this town and work nights the police will follow them the whole way home for no reason. I will again state in my opinion I is one town to not move to ever.
I lived in Spring Hill for over 18 years. I grew up there and I am very serious when I say it was one of the greatest places I could've grown up. I very much miss living there and hope to move back someday soon. The people are kind and helpful. There are a nice variety of stores and restaurants. Everyone is your neighbor in Spring Hill.
Since Spring Hill is a very small town, everyone knows each other here. This makes for a very good experience when you want to get out of the house and maybe go shopping or driving around town. Apart from just being a small town, it also has a very small school district which, in my opinion, is a lot better than Olathe because you can fit in a lot easier since there are less people. Finally, I would just like to say that we don't have many shops around the town, so many people have to drive up towards the bigger cities every weekend for groceries and other commodities.
Small town w/ small town mentality. School district boasts themselves well but does not have major curriculum choices for students to explore career options. Taxes, water and utilities are above average in cost limited, no fiber available for internet. Close to other larger more equipped cities for restaurants and shopping. Very limited professional services worth using.
Spring Hill is a very friendly town. Since it is a small town, everyone knows each other and everyone is really friendly.
This community is mostly families with children and I have not heard about any crimes.
The homes are 10 years old or less, all custom built, only a few vacant lots because homes are being built continuously. There are a few older areas but they are still located in this vicinity so it would be a nice safe community.
This is a very friendly, family oriented community, so if you don't like kids and community involvement, this is not the place for you.
There is very little crime in this area, it is a small town where people trust each other.
it's a nice place to live if you have a family, if you are single you will be bored.
I am a country person and it is great here but I would love to live in the middle of no where in the woods where no one know where I was. We still have great outdoors area here though.
There is not much public transportation here. We have some laws that are just for cops and make money because they make no sense.
There is not a lot of crime here. Mainly people stealing some but not just a lot. There are very rarely deaths due to other people here.
I am use to the weather here. It can get very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Fall and spring can be either cold or hot. Most people would not like it here, but I kinda like the uncertainty.
