Spring Hill Reviews

The neighborhood that I live in is very quiet. Even though the stores are a distance away because I am living in a new development, it is a good area to live in, there is not that much noise around and everyone goes about their business.
Very diverse area, with affordable housing, from a bungalow, to million dollar mansions. Houses can ba very close, to farms and fields. The population is also very diverse, mostly families who care about this area. On the west is the Gulf of Mexico. Boating and swimming, and lots of shopping! Unlike some up and coming areas, there is not big new housing developments, which, in my opinion, is great! Most traffic on the BIG highways, are from pass through traffic! FBI stats state the chance of crime is lower than most Florida areas, not to say we don’t have crime. There are better areas, and there is worse. You have to do your own investigation to see is Spring Hill is right for you and your family! We have lots of land, and also lots of space between our neighbors houses. This beats Miami and St Pete for crime and personal space. We happen to really enjoy living here! Opinions are from our personal observations, and we are glad we live here.
I have lived in Spring Hill going on 8 months now and I can say coming from New York it is definitly a different speed. Spring Hill is a residential suburb about 45 to 50 minutes north of Tampa on the Gulf in the Nature Coast. It is family friendly and very affordable! No concerns about safety here! It is very nice in the sense that it is very laid back and quiet, no noise on my street whatsoever. People seem to live in their own little bubble and that’s it. On the other hand there is not much to do for the younger crowd. Very boring! You have to be willing to travel an hour if you want to find something fun to do, like go to Tampa or the beaches in Clearwater and St. Pete area! Spring Hill has a lot of retirees and is a working class area. This is a conservative area for sure! If you move here and want a true Florida experience, this is probably not the place to be! But if your looking for quiet, then this is the place for you! Spring Hill is where grandma and grandpa would live!
