It is quiet. Schools are close. And Splashtown is right down the road. This is a really nice area. There are a lot of great schools around, and the crime rate is a lot lower than Houston, downtown. The neighbors are super welcoming and friendly too! Community has been expanding, and it is great to stay within a mile radius of restaurants, grocery shopping, gas and schools, and a waterpark.
I've moved 7 times in my life, and I can say with full confidence that Spring, Texas is the most diverse city I have ever lived in. Not only in terms of race, but in terms of people. No matter where you come from, you will be able to find people who not only look like you, but people who share the same ideas, interests, passions, etc. No matter what, people will always be respectful of you. The schools are dedicated to giving the best education available to their students. There are so many community clubs that allow you to get out of your comfort zone and meet new people. This little suburb of Houston has a lot to offer!
It's a peaceful area where I live, but the people can be rude or disrespectful sometimes. The public schools in the ISD are horrible, and honestly should just have a whole revamp. If you're thinking about moving here, just know the schools are horrible, and your kids will be in danger, think twice!
