Spooner is a really nice place to grow up in. The high school has a good math department and drama program. I've only ever gone to school in Spooner, so I have no idea how it compares with other schools. Living in the country around Spooner is really nice if you like the outdoors.
Spooner is a small town with nothing to do in it. There's a lot of places to go to eat but you have to travel 30 minutes away to get anything else as there's only a grocery place in town. The school isn't great and neither is the hospital. Spooner is a town you go to retire and not really have a family.
