My experience with living in Spencer is great. This is a small city, so everybody knows everybody. We are like a family, and we enjoy each others company. Although our city gets called "ghetto", "ratchet", "raggedy", and anything that is not good, we make the best of what we have. What I would change about Spencer is the street. We have a lot of bumpy and dirt roads and I feel like if nothing else gets fixed out here, it should be the streets. Another thing I would change is the job opportunities. Spencer is a very small city but we have a lot of land that goes to waste. We need more stuff out here not only for jobs but also for medical use, food, and other things in that nature.
It's got a few knuckle heads, but you make it what you want. I've lived a quiet life here. It has so much potential. The police aren't as helpful as they could be. They are nice in general.
There isn't too much violence out here.
