Sparta is a welcoming community with an excellent school system! The community holds several events throughout the year. The German Christmas Market is a popular event that hosts several vendors and attracts people from all over. Lake Mohawk is a beautiful lake with several family friendly beaches. There isn't a bad restaurant in town!

Sparta Township, although great for families, is pretty expensive and commutes can become an issue, with construction on the main hgihway through the town if you need to commute itno the city it can take significantly longer than it should. Overall, Sparta does not offer much outside of the basics of a small town, on top of that, the public schools are slowly falling into a state of disrepair, with the high scholl inparticular ignoring major issues with the building in favor of less important assets.
The schools want to see the children succeed. There are many restaurants and events occurring all around the place. ( Like the yearly carnival that occurs in the beginning of summer.) There are farmer markets around the place. Children freely go on the streets to their friends' homes or restaurants. During Christmas, there is a 3-day German market. There are many jobs open for people and our beaches are amazing. It is a child's dream!
