Southern Pines Reviews
Southern Pines is an adoring small town. I enjoy downtown Southern Pines the most, it is filled with family businesses, and mom and pop shops and the train station in the center of it all. The community comes together for parades or first Friday events. Naturally, the spring is when the parks are crowded with little ones, and cyclists share the roads.
Southern Pines is a safe and friendly town. It is a close knit community with a variety of people including military families and retired citizens. A small town atmosphere with limited nightlife, but an abundance of daytime activity opportunities. Southern Pines is a great place to raise a family!
A nice town, but the small town atmosphere can be stifling. Everyone knows everyone, and the old families can be racist and prejudice against newcomers.
