I like how southaven is a city that is so diverse and full of beautiful landscapes. I also like how close southaven is to Memphis which is a big hub. Even being a smaller city it has so many food and shopping options. Southaven is continuously growing and slowly becoming bigger. I love the building of more homes to bring people in. I do not love all of the school options some are better than others. Also I like being a suburb to have beautiful parks and in community parks as well. I love the city traditions like Southern Lights through the park during Christmas and the Christmas parade. I also like how close so many businesses are no matter where you are, you can easily to food and shopping. Everyday my city is growing and becoming better

Lovely community on the outskirts of Memphis, TN. Good schools, nice neighborhoods, safe and secure. Easy commute to major employers like Amazon, FedEx. Distribution center with many fulfillment houses such as Williams-Sonoma, Dollar General, etc.
This is a great suburb to grow up in! The school system is great, but I would like to see more opportunities in high school for STEM programs. Often times at school, I don't feel challenged enough in the classroom and there are no computer courses offered other than a basic skills class. This is 2018, the schools need to step it up!

There is also not much when it comes to great dining options. Most restaurants are chains and offer quantity over quality. i'd live to see more health options like other cities offer.

Close proximity to Memphis.
