South Sarasota Reviews
This town is mostly famous for retirees and it's amazing beaches, most notable Siesta Key Beach. They have free transportation (trolley) between their beaches to their town square on Siesta Key. They also have reliable public buses called SCAT. Sarasota has many great brunch places scattered all over the town and city and many great seafood restaurants. There is also a renowned famous statue in downtown called "Unconditional Surrender" that is a 26-feet recreation of a famous picture in Times Square on V-J Day. However, it lacks good culturally diverse food and has very old inhabitants.
The most crime here involves drugs. The police are very threatening & lock up non violent & victimless crimes the most. I find the police to be absolutely deplorable.
It's a very beautiful place to live. We have some of the best beaches in the world, the weather is always warm, and we have plenty of gorgeous communities, etc. to live.
