We lived in South Riding for a time and if we ever moved back to the metro DC area we would choose South Riding again. Excellent pediatrician, close by to two hospitals and many other medical centers, great playgrounds scattered around, half of the properties on lining the South Riding golf course, two excellent daycares (Goddard and Primrose), Food Lion, Harris Teeter, and Giant to grocery shop at, excellent library close by in Stone Ridge, and good HOA. My only complaint is many of the properties are the biggest house you can get with almost no yard.

Extremely diverse neighborhood, even within our little townhouse square, all neighbors were very friendly. The housing cost of this area is going up. We cannot afford the townhouse we sold a few years ago!

The diversity in the area is of all shades, religious beliefs, shapes, and sizes. I mean, what more could you ask for? As a person of color, I feel comfortable walking around in my own skin. There are a handful of job opportunities with little to no discrimination in the workplace. The public schooling system in South Riding, provides kids K-12 with many opportunities, mentally, educationally, and emotionally. All in all, South Riding, Virginia, is a great place to both start a family and/or move to if you are looking for diversity, safety, and greater opportunities.
Living here for 16 years, South Riding is a peaceful place to live. Mostly full of neighborhoods and lots of houses, it makes this place a safe place to live for families & people of all ages. South Riding has some good selections of elementary, middle, & high schools which is part of Loudoun County. Loudoun County schools are great and the best because of their diversity, safeness and other aspects. South Riding has a great selection of shops, businesses for all ages, whether it would for recreational purposes or for finding a new job there.
