South Patrick Shores Reviews
Rating 3.53 out of 5 15 reviews
S Patrick shores is part of the county even though mailing address is part of satellite beach. Taxes are lower than city of Satellite and homes are relatively affordable for a quiet beach town. Top rated schools and low crime. Brevard County as a whole needs to work on infrastructure so power and water issues annoying during bad storms. Overall I love it here. All worth it.
It is not horrible, but my car radio was stolen once.
It's a nice little town, but it's more for older people who are retired and want to settle down.
We have very little crime, I just wish that there was a stronger leash on the drug use in the area not being addressed especially with the High School
I love living here, its beautiful and the people for the most part are nice and welcoming
Its an alright area, but lately there has been a lot of crime, like murders. Its starting to make people paranoid, and now the police are a lot more active, which is good. The police work hard, and are good at what they do.
The police and fire stations are very good from what I have seen. There are a lot of fire trucks and ambulances that go around and are good at what they do. However, the bus system isn't bad, but it could be improved upon. Also, there is a need for a lot of road work in some areas, which can be a problem.
Around here, it rains a lot more than other places. Most people don't find it nice, but I generally like the weather around here. The only somewhat bad part is that it is a lot more variable in what it can be, and predictions aren't always very accurate. There hasn't been a major hurricane in a few years around here, but they've been a problem in the past. There are a fair amount of thunderstorms, as it rains a lot anyways.
For an 18 year old, there isn't a lot of food or drink options. I will not go into the drinking, since I'm underage. But for food, there's a fair variety. There are a lot of good pizza places, like Bizzaros and NY Pizza, along with the big company ones like Dominoes. There are some good restaurants, like Beef O' Brady's and Stake and Shake. I've also heard there are good Mexican food places like Da Kine Diego's.
There is crime but not so bad
There are many job opportunities from lawn care to resturants. Plus the airforce base is nearby.
So many things local beach side to where one does not need to leave the island. from groceries to movie theaters.
The historic Cocoa Beach Pier was built in 1962 and it has evoled into an iconic beach destination for families and spring breakers. It draws more than one million visitors a year and it is over 800 feet in length. I has five restaurants and bars. It is a ten minute beach walk to Ron Jon's Surf show.
