South Lyon is a great town. It is small and cozy. But it isn't what is in the town its what isn't. The city is relatively old but just recently has become a very booming place to live because of the cheaper homes. Because South Lyon isn't as big or shall i say prestigious as say Brighton or Northville, which are neighboring cities with much more expensive housing, you can live here in a very nice and new home. The only down side is that the "night life" isn't really there. We have good restaurants but South Lyons down town isn't really a down town. When you look at Brighton they have shops and many great restaurants which SL lacks. But in the end this is ok because it makes for a nice and quiet family friendly city with an abundance of new subdivisions, right in the center of cities like Novi, Wixim, Brigthon and Northville that have countless places for entertainment.

The house mouse is the most commonly encountered and economically important of the commensal rodents. House mice are of Central Asian origin, but they are distributed worldwide and can be found throughout the United States. House mice are not only a nuisance, but they can pose significant health and property threats.

House mice breed rapidly and can adapt quickly to changing conditions. In fact, a female house mouse can give birth to a half dozen babies every three weeks and can produce up to 35 young per year.
South Lyon has grown very much over the years, but it doesn't offer much for anyone other than families with children. If you live here you will most likely have to drive at least 15 minutes to go anywhere interesting or fun. It is a suburb, so if you like that atmosphere, South Lyon is for you. Also the school system says they have very smart kids and all, but we have lackluster curriculum/schedule options for students in middle and high school.
