I retired to South Lebanon 6 years ago. I couldn’t be more pleased. My wife and I have traveled throughout the Eastern and Southern US looking for the best area to buy a home and retire, we choose South Lebanon. Beautiful farm scenery, no traffic issues, extremely safe, easy driving distance to Hershey, Lancaster, and Philly, great schools, and great people. The future of South Lebanon looks very good.

South Lebanon Township folk are pretty friendly. The people usually don’t speak unless spoken too. The roads are just like any typical, terrible Pennsylvania roads. The Fire Police are amazing and the best in the state. There is a lot of conservative ideology. There is also some racism and homophobia- which is (sadly) typical in a smaller town.
Rural, safe, great schools, a great place to live. Easy commute to Hershey, Lancaster, or Harrisburg.
