SLT is home. The community can be tight-nit but once you live here you are local. Great outdoor activities! Skiing, snowboarding, water sports, hiking, camping, fishing--you name it, Tahoe has it.

South Lake Tahoe is an INCREDIBLE place to live. Surrounded by sheer beauty and nature, this town has strong communities in all activities outdoors. The town is very ecologically aware, with many efforts to protect the lake and the wilderness surrounding it. The population is quite small, and many people know one another here. Lake Tahoe is a vacation town so many job opportunities revolve around the tourist seasons.
South Lake has a lot to offer! There are lots of activities to be shared. Many of the people are very like minded and participate in said activities. The town could use some updates, but overall it's a great place. South Lake thrives off of tourism, but other opportunity can be hard to come by. Overall, my experiences in South Lake have been nothing short of amazing!
