Living in South Amboy for my 17 years of life thus far, I could have never imagined growing up anywhere else. As a child, I loved the numerous parks embedded throughout the town. The waterfront park is my ultimate favorite, with a breathtaking bayside view. It definitely fits the small town stereotype, as most of its citizens have known each other for years. Attending South Amboy's Public School was also a great experience with amazing teachers and sports. With the YMCA, roller rink, and various pizza restaurants, there is so much to do within the city. Specifically, the roller rink has always been a nostalgic place for me. The people are friendly and the overall environment is very welcoming.

It is small but nice. I am just a small town girl and South Amboy is just one square mile so it is always easy to meet new people. Also it is great to take walks here especially at the waterfront. We also have some of the best pizza places around!
Very comfortable, friendly and quiet town with thing to do outdoor...Nice parks, waterfront. Feels safe.
