Sour Lake is a tight community where basically everybody knows everybody; we treat everyone as if we were family. Living in a small town can be beneficial, like if someone needs a ride to school or help with homework or if a neighbor needs help in their garden.

Everyone is super nice. There are not very many restaurants, but the ones that are here are nice. The biggest thing is the town is the car dealership. There is no Walmart, but a large city is not very far away.
We don't have a wide variety of stores. The town is mainly composed f mom-and-pop shops. however we have recently got current fast food chains (subway, sonic), but the management very poor.
