I have lived in Sonora for most of my life. I love this small town, with a population around 500 it is very quaint! I could not imagine spending my childhood anywhere else. Sonora is special, everyone knows one another. Not only do they know you but people genuinely help others out. It is a community that wants to see other's thrive.

It is a very small town, mostly a residential community. There is not very much here. There is one school, an elementary school. There are three churches, one does public basketball tournaments. There are three restaurants, two locally owned and one commercial, and a single convenience store. There are two gas stations. There aren't any public parks, and there are no community festivals anymore.
Small town environment but driving distance to larger towns. Just a 15 minute drive to local restaurants, businesses, and shopping centers. Several small churches, which most of the locals do attend.
