Nice, friendly small town. Town does a great job of maintaining roads and handling snow removal! Plenty of excellent places to eat.

Moved away from the Wilton/Ridgefield area of CT to Somers to be closer to husbands work and absolutely love it! The community was welcoming and very down to earth. Everything is more convenient and our experience with the schools has been great!
Somers is the town I have grown up in. It is a safe and family oriented town. With pride in our high school the town revolves around the school district. The town is mostly private neighborhoods and not a lot of low income housing available. Also commercial stores are not allowed in the town to help continue family owned businesses. The night life isn't much, there is no worry of adults or kids causing problems around the town. Somers is a safe and quiet town other than the Friday night football games. Great place to raise a family.
