I love the size of the town, it is small, quaint, feels safe and has an old fashioned sense of small town charm. I love the public schools, which treat the students more like a private school than a public school; the teachers and faculty know all the students by name, they are involved in the education process as more than just teachers doing a job, they share in the joys of our childrens' achievements. I love the sense of community that surrounds you in Social Circle...merchants know who you are and neighbors watch out for each other. There are many activities throughout the year that the town has that everyone participates in and it brings the town closer together as a community.

I have lived in Social Circle my entire life. I thrived in the small town atmosphere, where everybody knows everybody, and I grew up with most of the same people. Everyone went to the football games on Friday nights, whether you had a child playing or not, just to socialize and cheer on the hometown team. We have a fall festival every year, and you know just about everyone in the homecoming parade. I loved growing up in my small town, and I plan to raise my own family there as well. The only thing I would ever change about my town is is that there is not really a place that is set aside strictly for young people to spend time together other than of course the school or football games. A movie theater, a small arcade or a nice coffee shop would be a great place to just hang out and talk. Other than that, Social Circle is a great little place to love and grow up!
Social Circle is a very small town that is very community-oriented. There are a lot of events planned throughout the year that enable residents to have a good time and mingle. The school system is amazing and teachers care about students' success. I would change the safety, however, because there has been a lot of dangerous activity lately.
