In my experience with Snyder, TX has been great. I love the small town vibe, although it has been growing quite a bit. Snyder is a friendly town, the people that live here are nice and helpful. I, personally, was born and raised here, and no better place to grow up in such a beautiful town.

Snyder is a small town of a population of about 11,000 people. We have a Wal-Mart Supercenter, a United grocery store and various places to dine. As far as recreational activities, we have golfing at our 2 year community college, Western Texas college and at the Country Club. Other activities include Tae-Kwon Do, Cross Fit, dance classes, bowling, movies at Snyder Cinema and karaoke at our local pub, The Horny Toad . Although we are a small town and our values of small town living have been reserved over the last few years of growth in population, we are close knit and a great town to start a family and buy your first home. If you like the big city living then we are an hour away from both Abilene and Lubbock. I prefer small town living, so I like this small town of Snyder. If I need a little get away for the weekend I know I got a peaceful small town to come home to. If you like small town living then Snyder, Texas, is the place to be.
The small town life is pretty good. You know pretty much everyone in town. Also, it can be fun because everyone you went to school with basically you keep up with because it is such a small town. Although all that is great, there isn't really much to do in a small town.
