Snook is a small town with friendly people, who love sports, farming and animals. It has a relatively diverse culture. Even though it is small, there are festivals held there throughout the year. The biggest is Chilifest, which brings in big country singers. But it is possible to get away from noise and enjoy the peaceful nature that surrounds the town.
The town needs to be more accepting of the LGBT community. They are very closed minded whether it is the school or just in town itself many are rude and derogatory to the few who are out.
Great place to settle down and have a family. Pretty quiet area located about 15 minutes from Texas A&M campus. Growing communities. Diverse. Local private businesses that thrive.
