Sneads Ferry is a quiet area. I am rating it as average because I am a city girl (from Brooklyn, New York) and I prefer towns that have everything closeby. I can say that I do like that Sneads Ferry is close to the beach and surprisingly, has a really good New York pizzeria in the area. It's not quite suburban and not quite rural. The people are friendly, however it's not as diverse as I would like it to be. I am very often the only minority present when I go to do groceries, or go eat at a restaurant.

Very small country town. Which is great for some! BUT the military community is growing too quickly for this small town to keep up. There’s only 1 grocery store (food lion) and too many dollar generals.
I love the diversity of the military community and living by the beach! I wish we had more options for healthier eating but we at least have fresh seafood.
