Skidaway Island Reviews
Skidaway Island is the top place to live in Savannah and Chatham County, and is one of the largest planned communities in the country. The homes range from 300k-2 mil +, and the fact that it is gated adds to the value. The amenities are great, pools, restaurants/clubhouses, 6 award-winning golf courses, and 2 marinas. Plus over 100 miles of walking/golf cart trails.
Living on Skidaway Island is a very distinct kind of lifestyle. It is a well-off community, so naturally it is a safe and well maintained place to live. The community has quite the older crowd, so nightlife and teenage shenanigans are very limited. I would love to see more diversity here. Too many grumpy old white men.
For coastal area, weather is great.
