Review Sioux Falls
Sioux Falls, SD, is a great town! It isn't too heavily populated with a lot to do. There are seasonal activities such as Great Bear for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing in winter and summer there is Wild Water West water park. Summer events such as Hot Harley Nights, Summer Nights, and the Sioux Falls Fair bring a lot of outdoor activities and concerts for everyone to enjoy. There is also the Falls Park, which the city is named after. It is well lit in the winter with Christmas lights and lights on the falls that change color. There is a large variety of restaurants and fast food places for great food. The Denny Premier Center has frequent concerts and sporting events. If the sport isn't played at the premier center then it is held at the Sanford Pentagon, where a lot of tournaments are also held. If I could change something about Sioux Falls, I would get Uber so one could have a way of getting home after going downtown and drinking.
I have lived in Sioux Falls all my life and this city keeps getting better and better. My childhood is filled with fond memories of parks, pools, bike trails, and many fun things to do. The people here are always so kind and hospitable. Our downtown area has become a staple of our economy and culture, and has helped us establish a great community of art, music, shops, and entrepreneurship. We have great natural beauty to discover with Falls Park, the bike trail, our Outdoor Campus, and many other great parts of nature. The economy continues to grow making it an incredible place to live and raise a family. Schools are abundant in the area and are filled with great teachers who love their students. There isn't really a bad thing I can say about Sioux Falls, maybe other than the winter gets a little chilly. I truly do love it here!
Sioux Falls is more than just your average college town. It has the big city feel with the small Midwest town morals. With more restaurants per capita, coffee shops every other block, and area attractions like the zoo, the Falls, and downtown, there is plenty of stuff to do while bonding with roommates! The colleges here are small so the professors know you by name and take a real interest in your life beyond college.
