Simi Valley is a family-oriented suburb with great schools and a friendly community. With a population of approximately 126,000 it is a relatively small town. The cost of living is high making it difficult for middle class citizens to purchase a home or pay rent.

Restaurants, malls and stores struggle to stay in business also due to the high cost of rents, government regulations, taxes, and lack of sales revenue, forcing many of them to either close or go out of business. The largest stores in Simi Valley is a Walmart, two Targets and Costco.

Simi Valley is very limited in the areas of entertainment, night life or restaurant choices.

Simi Valley is a small, intimate town. We have grown in the past years, expanding commerce and what the community has to offer, while still maintaining the small town feeling. I grew up in Simi and love the culture that the city provides. We are close to the beach and to the bigger cities that everything we need is within our reach. Our community is tight-nit and everyone knows one another and is pleasant and ind to one another. We have a diverse population and many families. It is beautiful town to grow up and a great place to raise a family. It is affordable and safe making it an idea city.
I love the small town feeling of Simi Valley. There is never bad traffic and you can get to all of your favorite local stores such as Target, Costco, and trader Joes in less than a 10 minute drive!
