I have grown up in Silver Lakes and I really appreciate all the opportunities it has given me. It is a wonderful little community where there is always something to do. Don't expect any parties or anything exciting though. The pool is awesome, youth programs are great, and the clubhouse is beautiful. I'm really happy to have grown up here.

Silver Lakes is a small community in Helendale off Route 66. It may seem a little strange out in the middle of the desert but the people are mostly older folks with small town fever. Gossip is their go to activity so that is a little annoying. Also you have to pay a membership fee every year yet you do get to use the golf course for free and there are other benefits too.
If you know someone who already works in one of the businesses here, you might have a shot.
