I love the coffee shops in downtown! The feel off the place is so cozy and the staff is always so welcoming. There are are also art studios and galleries where you can view local art and purchase it at reasonable prices. Overall, it’s a nice, quiet little town.
This is a very friendly town. It has a rich history. There exists a thriving cultural atmosphere that is very diverse. Being located close to the center of the state, the town has that small town felling, but is very up to date economically. It is situated close to the RTP area, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Asheboro (home of the state zoo), and many other largeer cities.
Cute, little small town that has it's own unique charm. I'm not a native, but moved there for Freshman year of school. Everything is within walking distance, very traditional southern charming place.
