Sierra Vista Reviews
Sierra Vista is a quaint retirement town next to a prominent military base. There are only a few public schools, including one high school. While it is small, new people are stationed here frequently so it's never boring. Most eateries are franchises, but the ones that aren't are amazing! There are cool new businesses in town, like Lights Out, the glow-in-the-dark mini golf course, or The Art of Escape, escape rooms with locations in town and on the military base. Cochise College and University of Arizona South are based here.
Moved here from Commiefornia because after my whole life there just couldn't take it anymore. What a breath of fresh aur Sierra Vista is! Everybody's so friendly and nice , helpful too. Some good local eateries and even the chain stores like Walmart , Ace Hardware , Lowe's etc. are nothing like the attitude you find in most big cities because the employees live here and it's just not cool to be a jerk. I've been here 10 months now and have yet to meet anyone that's not friendly. These young people reviews that they can't find anything to do should take up some of the many outdoor activities or move to Tucson please. I read complaints about the drug traffic but I've not seen any at all like anywhere I'm sure it exists but not obvious here. I've not seen any illegal aliens here either just mostly white people Hispanics who belong here and a few black folks all nice. Low crime rate , very convenient shopping lower gas prices than Tucson , affordable housing and great law enforcement
Sierra vista is a welcoming heartwarming military community where the people are friendly and the surroundings are beautiful. I make friends with someone almost every time I go to the store. There’s always a fun activity for families or individuals whether it’s at our locally veteran park or a coffee shop. One-off my favorite community events we have is a huge pet adoption where local humane societies come out and try to introduce dogs to their potential owners! Our local farmers market has a variety of goods and services from small business owners which are always supported in our little town. I am proud to call this place home.
